Alois Rohrmoser founded the firm in 1955 and produced skis.

Austria was and still is the base of their production. With 4 employees Mr. Rohrmoser started to produce alpine skis.

Unfortunately, the company went through a rough spot financially and was sold to the Finnish Company Amer Sports.

Amer Sports was also selling/producing Wilson Sporting Goods and many other sports product names.

Amer Sports has encountered several troublesome times. Some winters were so warm that resulted in less sales and therefore lowered revenues for the company.

Many fanatic skiers know this already; the Austrian national ski team is been known for using Atomic snow skis.

The product itself has a solid name as a ski and many others also use the brand exclusively.
